Biblical stories have influenced and inspired us for millennia; they are themes for drawings, paintings and sculpture. Having studied medieval and Renaissance religious art in the United States and Europe, I decided to contribute a Biblical series of my own.
To enhance a sense of antiquity in the final prints, I incorporated qualities found in woodcut and etching. The format also suggests the small prayer books or psalters used in the medieval period for devotional purposes.
